“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.”
Alan Kay

Building dreams, one idea at a time.

Helping small businesses, solo pros and aspiring entrepreneurs build the business around what they do best.

Portrait of the founder of Donovan Hunter

Where you are

Stuck at the start, or stuck doing everything.

An idea you can’t stop thinking about, with no clear first step. Or a business that works only because you do it all: the strategy lives in your head, eating margin and bleeding sales, and every new app is one more login.

Where I come from

I learn by doing.

I started on the front line and learned my way up. I’ve spent my career building operating models from scratch, writing the playbooks, and allocating hundreds of millions a year in payroll expense.

How I work

I advise, and I build.

A plan if you need one, the finished thing if you need that, and me directly from start to finish. AI where it makes sense, used responsibly, but the foundation first: clear numbers, simple processes, a strategy that holds.

What I’ve built.

Custom solutions that fit the business, not the other way around.

Research

Clarity on what to build, and who it’s for, before anything gets built.

A one-page clarity map: who it is for, what they will pay for, and the first three steps

Clarity Map

One page that sets the plan.

The idea, the customer and the offer on one page, with your first three steps, made together in one session.

Deep Audience Research

Find what your audience is already asking for.

Thousands of real conversations mapped into what people want, fear and will pay for, with a post idea for each one.

Creation

The pages, products, apps and systems that do the work.

A product sales page in a browser window

Landing Pages

One page, one offer, one button.

A sales page that says what it is, what it costs, and takes the payment.

A Mac app window, an iPhone home screen, and an install prompt for a web app

Apps

Apps for Mac, iPhone and the web.

Native macOS and iOS apps, and web apps people install to their home screen, built around how the business runs.

An online booking calendar showing open days

Booking Systems

Clients book themselves.

Only real open slots, the right length for every service, and no more back-and-forth texts.

A printable digital kit and its pages

Digital Products

Products people can buy at any hour.

A printable kit, designed and packaged, delivered the moment it is paid for.

A text conversation with an AI assistant planning the day

AI Assistant

An assistant you text like a person.

It reads your day, moves the meeting, drafts the reply and reminds you, all from one message.

An inbox split into what needs you and what was handled

Inbox Management

An inbox that sorts itself.

Receipts filed, newsletters rolled into a digest, and only what needs you left on top.

A flow from post to page to email to checkout, with a traced sale

Systems

Every piece wired together.

Post, page, email and checkout connected, so every sale traces back to what started it.

An AI answer built from calendar, inbox and sales tools

Custom Connectors

Your tools, inside Claude and ChatGPT.

Connectors that let AI read your calendar, inbox and records, and act on them.

One shared memory connected to several AI tools

Cross-Platform Agent Memory

One memory for every AI.

Claude, ChatGPT and your own agents share what they know, so nothing gets explained twice.

Marketing

Getting it in front of the people who want it.

A welcome email with a PDF attached, on a phone

Email Marketing

The welcome email lands before they close the tab.

Sign up, and what they asked for is in their inbox in seconds, with one-click unsubscribe built in.

Three social posts designed by AI agents

Agentic Workflows

Content that designs and posts itself.

One agent designs, another checks the work, and it goes out on schedule without anyone touching it.

Sound familiar?

The idea isn’t the problem. Finding the time is.

Real estate agent

6 hrsa week on market research

Another listing appointment, another evening pulling comps.

Most agents spend about six hours a week on market research, and three in four say finding the right comps is the slowest part. Then the client second-guesses the numbers anyway.

What I’d buildA research system that pulls the comps, drafts the market update and hands you a report you can defend, so your evenings go back to clients.

Independent barber

$13ka year lost to five missed cuts a week

Saturday is packed. Tuesday is empty. Two people just didn’t show.

Missed appointments cost barbers 5 to 15% of their chair time, and most cancellations land inside the last 24 hours, too late to fill.

What I’d buildBooking that confirms, reminds and takes a deposit, a waitlist that fills a cancelled slot by text, and a nudge that rebooks clients before they drift.

Full-time job, side business

2 hrsa week left over for social media

You know you should post. You get home, open the app, and stare at it.

After work and family, most people with a side business have about two hours a week for social media. Doing it properly takes three to six.

What I’d buildA content system that turns what your audience is already asking into a month of posts, written and scheduled in one sitting.

Figures: agent surveys, booking-platform no-show reports and small-business social media studies, 2025–26.

Where are you starting from?

What’s getting in the way?

Pick any that fit.

What it is, who it’s for, and what you’ve tried so far. A few sentences is plenty.

Booked out on weekdays. $2,000 a month on the side. Your evenings back.

What are you ready to invest to get there?

When do you want to start?

Where should I reach you?

Your answers come straight to me. Nothing is shared or added to a list.

Thank you.

I read every one myself. You’ll hear back from hello@donovanhunter.com.
